I love Tuesdays.
For as long as I can remember I’ve loved Tuesday. Maybe even more than Friday or Saturday some weeks - like this week. Why? Two words: new music. It’s like Christmas morning for my ears and I love every minute of it. This week there were some full album releases as well as a few fantastic samplers/features in preparation of some upcoming full-length greatness. These are just a few of my favorites from this week. Happy Tuesday!Walk The Moon: Walk The Moon
dancing shoes required, grooves, Ohio-natives, summer 2012 album, energetic.
Must Listen: I Can Lift A Car
{my favorite PS22 Chorus video featuring this song - so fun!}
Trent Dabbs: Future Like Snow
sit-back-and-listen, hypnotic, quietly powerful, soundtrack for a windows-down night drive, unannounced.
Must Listen: The Day Is Long, the Night Is Young (Hint of the 80’s - in a good way.)

{what’s better than a tuesday release? a surprise tuesday release.}
Ivan & Alyosha: The Cabin Sessions (Full-length album coming soon)
listen-and-repeat, for fans of Trent Dabbs, perfect harmonies, west coast acoustic, perfect soundtrack for any time of the day.
Must Listen: Be Your Man (Acoustic)
The Eastern Sea: The Eastern Sea (Plague releases June 26)
The Shins meet Pomegranates, familiar, slow builds, perfect blend of percussion/keys/trumpet/vocals, rhythm, narrative.
Must Listen: The Match (all the way through) & The Line - both too good to pick just one.
Glen Hansard: Rhythm & Repose
raw, powerful bellow, lyrical, natural continuation of Once/Swell Season/The Frames efforts, a musical change of pace.
Must Listen: High Hope
